„Kommunikation in der Stadt“. Ein Rückblick auf ein Projekt Werner Kallmeyers
In diesem Beitrag wird Rückschau auf das von Werner Kallmeyer geleitete Projekt „Kommunikation in der Stadt“ gehalten. Aus der Innensicht eines ehemaligen Mitarbeiters stelle ich in groben Zügen die Entwicklungsgeschichte und die von außen und innen kommenden Schwierigkeiten des Projekts dar. Darüber hinaus situiere ich das Projekt in der damaligen soziolinguistischen Forschungslandschaft und führe einige Haupt- und Nebenergebnisse an.
This article looks back over the project “communication in the city”, led by Werner Kallmeyer. From the point of view of an insider as a former member of the research team, I describe in general terms the development of the project and the external and internal difficulties it encountered. Beyond that I locate the project in the sociolinguistic research landscape of the time and give some of the main and secondary results.
