Anamnestische Verwendung der Demonstrativa im Deutschen und im Ungarischen
Bestimmte adsubstantivisch verwendete Demonstrativa verfügen – über die deiktische und phorische hinaus – über eine so genannte anamnestische Gebrauchsweise. Diese Verwendung wird in der Literatur häufig vernachlässigt, obwohl sie nach mehreren Autoren (z.B. Diessel, Himmelmann) den Ausgangspunkt der Grammatikalisierung der Demonstrativa bildet. Im vorliegenden Aufsatz wird einerseits nachgeprüft, ob und inwieweit die in der einschlägigen Literatur beschriebenen allgemeinen Charakteristika der anamnestischen Demonstrativa für das Deutsche und das Ungarische zutreffen. Andererseits werden auch die Eigenschaften der indefiniten Gegenstücke der anamnestischen Demonstrativa in beiden Vergleichssprachen anhand von Korpusbeispielen untersucht. Zum Schluss wird auch auf die möglichen Grammatikalisierungswege der Demonstrativa eingegangen.
Certain adnominally used demonstratives have not only deictic and phoric uses, but also a so-called recognitional use. This use is frequently neglected in the literature, although according to several authors (Diessel, Himmelmann) it forms the starting point for the grammaticalisation of the demonstratives. This article tests firstly whether and to what extent the general characteristics of recognitional demonstratives as described in the relevant literature apply to the German and the Hungarian languages. Secondly it examines the characteristics of the indefinite counterparts of recognitional demonstratives in both these languages on the basis of examples from a corpus. Finally it also discusses the possible grammaticalisation routes of the demonstratives.
